The Poet for Hire Has A Voice

I've had a number of features over the years.  I'll be posting various audio clips whenever I can.  The clips will hopefully range from the polished to the quirky.  Expect more of the quirky for now.

The Poet for Hire Has A Voice

"First In A Series"

From my Poetry At The Cantab Lounge  feature on November 28, 2007.  Special thanks to Cantab SlamMaster Simone Beaubien and  DJ Muse, who spins there most every week and recorded the set for me.  You can read the text version of the poem here and click here for the download.

"Easter"

Also from The Cantab on 11/28/07.  Also recorded by DJ Muse.  I had a hard time starting this poem about my father, as I was performing it less than a week before his death.  In posting this, I cheated and edited out part of the "dead air"  in the beginning to make it sound like I was more with it.  For the text version, you can click here.  You can click here to listen.

"Late At Night"

A while back, I took part in a video shoot for a DVD being put out locally.  The DVD, in my opinion, put together by a shuckster and not worth mentioning.  I did, however, with the permission of the person who paid for it (who is a friend), take this audio segment from it.
